This course is based on the contemporary, evidence-based models of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MiCBT), and is predominantly aimed at teaching people how to practically integrate mindfulness skills into their normal busy lives.
There is now an abundance of research demonstrating the effectiveness of mindfulness skills in treating stress, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain, as well as more severe and chronic mental illnesses.
