8 Week Mindfulness Program

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to what we experience in the present moment with an attitude of openness and curiosity. This mindfulness course is structured over 8 weeks. Each module covers practical mindfulness skills such as how to cope with difficult thoughts and feelings, how to use mindfulness skills to help us achieve values-based goals, and how to use positive experiences to build emotional resilience.

This course is based on the contemporary, evidence-based models of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MiCBT), and is predominantly aimed at teaching people how to practically integrate mindfulness skills into their normal busy lives.

How can Mindfulness help?

There is now an abundance of research demonstrating the effectiveness of mindfulness skills in treating stress, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain, as well as more severe and chronic mental illnesses.
