Chiropractic & NET

A healthy nervous system is essential to enable our bodies to adapt to the physical, chemical and emotional stresses of life. Malfunction or restriction of the joints of our spine, pelvis or skull can interfere with the transmission of information through our nervous system, resulting in a reduction in overall health and wellbeing and a diminished ability to combat disease.

Chiropractic is a natural system of wellness care that aims to address the root cause of ill health rather than simply treating the symptoms. By adjusting the spine and removing interference to the nervous system, it allows the body to heal itself.

Who can benefit from Chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care has been shown to be effective in treating a range of conditions such as headaches, neck and shoulder pain, postural tension, lower back pain and much more. It’s never too early or too late to have your spine and nervous system checked. Chiropractic may benefit babies through to the elderly. Techniques are tailored to the individuals needs, ensuring safety and comfort.

NET stands for Neuro Emotional Technique. This technique aims to normalise the physiology of the stress response in the body. People use to think that stress was felt primarily in their brain. Now we know that other parts of the body can also reflect a stressful reaction. NET is a dynamic muscle testing system which identifies and alleviates the internal stressors that are creating barriers to health and success.

Who can benefit from NET?

NET Practitioners are nearly unlimited in their ability to address the physical and behavioural stress-related conditions of their patients. These conditions include headaches, body pains, phobias, general anxiety, self-sabotaging behaviours, organ dysfunctions and so much more. It’s important to note that NET does not cure or heal the patient, but rather, NET removes blocks to the natural vitalism of the body, “allowing” the body to repair itself naturally.

Natural Beauty Therapy

Feeling beautiful and healthy is so important to our sense of well-being and joy for life. Natural Beauty Therapy takes a holistic view of beauty that includes providing you with natural treatments and teaching you how to maintain your beauty using natural organic and cruelty free beauty products.

Who can benefit?

Our key focus is on the health of your largest organ – the skin. Even beauty treatments not specifically for the skin, such as hair removal and nails, need to consider the proper treatment of the surrounding skin areas. Between treatments, your daily beauty regime should not only make you look good but should keep your skin naturally healthy.

Naturopathy

Our Naturopaths combine scientific understanding of health conditions with evidenced based supplementation and advice to treat both the underlying cause of illness and the presenting symptoms.

Naturopathy provides a holistic approach to health, taking into consideration the body, mind and emotions and how these elements interact with each other to affect bodily function.

Modern Naturopathy is an integrative approach to health care; combining scientific understanding of diagnosis, disease processes, testing and bodily function with the belief that the body has an innate intelligence to maintain wellness, if given the right circumstance and conditions.

As the cause of mind, body and emotional imbalance can vary from person to person, our Naturopathic Team emphasis the importance of developing and implementing individually tailored health plans.

Who can benefit from Naturopathy?

Naturopathic practitioners are often referred to where a detailed case history and dietary review is needed and specific dietary, lifestyle and supplementation advice is required to assist in the management of various health conditions, including:

  • Fatigue
  • Suspected food sensitivities and intolerances
  • Chronic skin conditions eg Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis
  • Digestive health issues eg IBS, Reflux, GORD, Crohns Disease, Ulcerative Colitis
  • Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome
  • Anxiety, Low mood, Insomnia
  • Menopause
  • Infertility
  • Gynaecological disorders such as PCOS, Endometriosis
  • Hormonal Imbalances such as PMS
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Autoimmune conditions
What makes us different?

Our Naturopaths prioritise the healthcare needs of their patients by suggesting they choose the treatments that are in the patients best interest, rather than choosing only those that themselves can provide. Importantly, our naturopaths recognise the limitations of natural therapies and take an integrative and collaborative approach to their patients health & wellbeing.

When needed they refer their patients to other medical and allied health care practitioners and if possible, recommend practitioners who are happy to see patients who want to continue natural remedies and treatments.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare that recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. By using manual therapy techniques (such as massage, stretching, mobilisation etc) Osteopathic treatment can help relieve pain and stiffness and includes exercise rehabilitation and education on how to manage your injury, and prevent recurrence.

Who can benefit?

Osteopathy can help to reduce pain, improve flexibility and mobility, increase strength and coordination, promote more efficient movement patterns, and keep your body capable of doing what you need it to do.

What makes us different?

Our Osteopaths are experienced in assisting a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, acute or chronic, including those with circulatory, arthritic or neurological components. They pride themselves in helping you to understand your condition, prognosis and ways that you can assist in your recovery.

Their goal is to treat the cause of your symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves. As such, they will always undertake a thorough medical history, plus perform the necessary clinical tests to ensure an accurate diagnosis and work closely with GP’s and specialists, referring you to them if required.
